Presentation Day 2010 - Sunday September 12th

Presentation Day 2010 will run much the same as in 2009. U6 - U13 will have their presentations at Bannockburn Oval around lunchtime while the U15 to All Age and O35/45 sides will have theirs at Turramurra Bowling Club in the evening.

Timetable
11am: BBQ begins at Bannockburn
12pm: U6-13 Presentation

5pm: Finger food begins being served at Turramurra Bowling Club
6pm: U15+ Presentation

Presentations should take no longer than 30 minutes

2010 AGM - Monday October 11th

This year's AGM will see a number of committee members standing down from their current positions, particularly our President Steve Watson, who will remain on the committee in a reduced capacity, and our Secretary Adrian Stark, who is leaving the committee entirely. This means more than ever that we need some new blood on the committee for the 2011 season. We aren't expecting new committee members to necessarily take on either of those two major roles (although we probably wouldn't say no) but we will need people to assist in filling the roles of those who are stepping into the major positions. Some of the other positions that we are looking to fill include:

  • Coaching Co-Ordinator: We need a passionate co-ordinator interested in developing our players and coaches, in particular to co-ordinate and take feedback on our club coaching programme for Juniors, as well as co-ordinating youth clinics and coaches workshops by our outside professional coaches.
  • Youth Registrar: Principally a beginning of season role in particular; to co-ordinate (not necessarily do themself) forming of teams and appointing coaches and managers, together with registration of teams at KDSA level.
  • Junior Age Co-Ordinators: Similar to the above registrar role - we need several co-ordinators to help organise a junior age group or two each, at the beginning of the season in particular.
  • Assistant Treasurer: With a view to taking over the Treasurers role for 2012
  • Assistant Equipment Officer / Grounds Co-Ordinator: Assist with management of kits and equipment, and co-ordination of the ground dressing roster.
